Job Description
Pure Joy Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Care Assistant to support elderly clients in their homes. This role focuses on non-medical care, helping clients maintain independence, comfort, and dignity in their daily lives.
As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide hands-on support with everyday activities while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Support medication reminders (non-medical)
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition
- Maintain a safe and respectful home environment
Requirements
- Genuine passion for caring for the elderly
- Previous caregiving experience is an advantage (not mandatory)
- Ability to follow care instructions and schedules
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically able to assist with daily care activities
- Willingness to undergo background and health screening
